Jenna Fischer was best known for her role as Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on TV. Her role on The Office brought her an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress category. She also was awarded two SAG Awards, both for extraordinary performances on the cast of a comedy.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne was a performer in church plays as a child, and this instilled an interest in theater.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, who is a trained actress in the theater, went back to her roots. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to be Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.
