Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actor, is most well-known for her portrayals of Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the roles of characters from the telefilm Nightingales, the NBC series with the same name (which was only for a couple of episodes) and Erica Paget from the CBS show Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio in the show Psych. As a California native Swanson had a passion for acting as a young girl. She began her career in the field of commercials, in which she starred in commercials for a number of companies. The actress was featured in a scene on the sitcom of NBC, It's Your Move in 1984. The following year, in the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the bigscreen. Swan gained notoriety for her gorgeous blonde lisp and her breathless voice. She's recently shifted from main roles to secondary characters. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
