Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The babies were in the crib and I was strapped in with one of them to my back. Ha! The whole thing started to seem logical, however it was far from finished. It was going to take a lot of money effort and shopping my favorite furnishings for this house. To stay on budget I started going to estate sales with my three sons to find diamonds in the rough. Our weekly routine that included spending Friday through Saturday at estate and garage sales, purchasing new and old objects. I spent the rest of the week working on painting and sanding the driveway. It looked a bit like the following... This is the place where my passion for in the process of restoring old furniture got started. Even though our home was fully furnished, I could not quit. On the streets, I rented a small area and then sold a few items. Then, I ran out of numerous pieces of furniture to fit into the room available. My home was where I would host open houses where more than 1000 people could come in and buy any item they wanted from the first floor within a single weekend. This is where my business Growing Days was born. The business I was running was growing and my family was growing too. As a young mom, I found the right way to be able to begin my own company and be a good mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. My sweet Nora came into the world in 2013, our fourth child. My business was going well but I wanted a rest. I got away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy the time I needed with my children. It was time. However after a few months without a phone, it began to ring. I was getting calls from people seeking help for their interior decorating and home remodeling. Most of these people were those who had walked through my property during open house for furniture! I began taking on customers one by one taking my time however it wasn't for long to have multiple accounts and was running the complete business of home remodeling. You would probably have laughed at me had I had told you that this was going to be the subject of a DIY Network tv series. As I reflect at it, it has made me giggle.
